A router that meets a real need
Most routers try to out do the competition on support for the latest standards running at 5Ghz instead of 2.4Ghz. That's great if you want high speeds and your device is 2 metres from the router. But the fact is that the biggest issue for most homes is signal coverage and the low speeds that result from that. This router addresses THAT problem and does this amazingly well.

PROS * easy to setup * stronger signal CONS * ugly and big with such long antennas * hard to get antennas to stay upright all the time * had wireless security issue once with mobile phones The unit did have a stronger signal than my previous router but it wasn't enough for the range that I needed. Great range, great price, great product!
I would highly recommend this product. I purchased it as I have an outside cabin and our wifi wouldn't reach to the area. A little doubtful that this would work, as it has to go over about 60-80 metres but was thrilled once it was installed to get very good reception this far and further. I love this product. If you need a good strong wifi signal in an out of reach area - this is the router to buy!I would highly recommend this product. Probably not again.
The router was easy to set up. The range is only about 10metres more then my really old one. This one is constantly dropping out of wifi reception.
